Brian
Wallace - Trumpet, Flugelhorn

Originally from the Boston area, Brian holds a degree in Music
Education from the Berklee College of Music. While at Berklee,
Brian studied under such notable trumpet players as
Wayne Naus
(lead trumpeter with Buddy Rich, Maynard Ferguson &
Lionel Hampton) and Lin Biviano (lead trumpeter with
Maynard Ferguson, Count Basie, Woody Herman, Harry James
and Musical Director with the Lawrence Welk Orchestra).

Brian has performed with numerous ensembles, including
wedding groups, Jazz bands and orchestras. In 1998, Brian
performed in Los Angeles with Portuguese singing sensation,
Jorge Sylva. Brian also spent 4 years touring with original
funk group, Rippopotamus;
their hit song "Performa" was featured as the theme song to MTV’s
1996 season of Singled Out. |

Ed Friedman - Saxophones

| A native of New York City, Ed Friedman holds a PhD in Music History
from the University of Connecticut, and also studied jazz at the
University of Miami. His playing experience has ranged from jazz to
popular music; weddings, parties and shows, as well as night clubs.
Since moving to Connecticut in 1976, he has played with, among
others, Northern Rhythm, Tonal Eclipse, The Flash
Horns Band, Nu Brotha Earth, Tongue & Groove,
Elm City, Sweet Butter & Jam, Full Affect and
Funk Food. |
| Ed taught music for several years in the East Hampton public school
system and is presently Band Director at Harding High School in
Bridgeport. |
